ROGERSVILLE - The 11th Annual 4th of July Three-on-three Basketball Tournament at Rogersville City Park tipped off around 8:30 Friday morning.  Seventeen teams filled the two brackets, a 17-and-under division and an 18-and-over.

In the first pairing of the day in the 17-and-under division a team comprised of Aaron Bennett, the senior point guard at Volunteer High School, Ethan Hagood and Chris Parker advanced.

In the 18-and-over division a team comprised of former Cherokee Chief hoopsters Brian Milan, Darren Haun, Josh Williams and Brian David Snow made quick work of a team of former Volunteer athletes, featuring Jared Mann, Tyler Seal and Bo Dykes.
