Flooding takes toll on county

The rain gauge at the Tennessee Valley Authority's John Sevier plant recorded a total of 6.57 inches of water from Sunday night through Wednesday in Hawkins County.  In comparison, during the entire month of December the location received 4.78 inches of rain.  -- Photo by Richard Kretz
