Middle Tennessee State signee Conner Trent was the Falcons' only offensive player selected. The offensive tackle recently inked scholarship papers with the Blue Raiders.

Three members of the defense made first team, lineman Hunter Lawson, linebacker Robert Ramsey and defensive back Sam Barton.

On the second team, running back Casey Price and center Hobart Stapleton were selected. Defensively, linebacker Addison Bates and defensive back Kirk Cradic were honored.

Seven Falcons made the honorable mention team. They were Tanner Dixon, Jonah White, Hunter Aistrop, Matt Reed, Bryant Reed, Bryant Hill and Maliek Carpenter.

Dobyns-Bennett multi-faceted quarterback Malik Foreman was picked as player of the year. Starting the year as receiver, he stepped in when quarterback Chris Cook was lost for the season with a neck injury. The Indians lost to Maryville in the Class 5A quarterfinals. Cook won the Jake Logue Award, named in honor of the late Sullivan South player who passed away during a football game in 2009.

Offensive Player of the Year was Science Hill quarterback Will Adams, while D-B cornerback Devaun Swafford was the conference's defensive player of the year.

Three coaches received the Coach of the Year award, D-B's Graham Clark, Daniel Boone's Jeremy Jenkins and recently retired Crockett Coach Kent Greene. Greene retired as the all-time winningest coach of the Pioneers.
