Taking their oaths Monday evening are, from left to right, Alderman Betsy Stewart Shipley, Alderman Jimmy Sexton, Alderman Susan Williams and Mayor Michael B. Solomon. Alderman Martha Snelson was unable to attend. The new officials take office December 1 and serve until November 30, 2014.
