ROGERSVILLE - A brazen thief returned to the scene of his crime early Saturday morning because he had to bring his own trailer to complete the theft. A dirt bike and two four-wheelers, valued at $5,500, were reported stolen from Lender Services, 5110 Highway 11W, Rogersville. The theft was caught by a security camera which shows the entire incident. Shortly before 2 a.m. the recording shows a red or maroon S-10 style Blazer of GMC Jimmy approached the parking lot of the business. The camera shows a male exiting the vehicle and lifting the gate off its hinges to enter the lot. Once inside, the man moved the two four-wheelers and dirt back and unsuccessfully attempted to hook a U-Haul trailer to his vehicle. The vehicle is then seen leaving the lot at 2:21 a.m. traveling eastbound on the highway. The same vehicle returned at 3:27 a.m., this time pulling a single axle flat bed trailer with rails around the side. "What appears to be the same male as before exits the vehicle and then loads the four-wheelers and motorcycle into the trailer and leaves again, this time going west," a Hawkins County Sheriff's Office report states. The male is described as being approximately six feet tall with a thin build and was seen smoking cigarettes while committing the theft. The missing vehicles are described as a black 2008 Polaris Sportsman 90, (VIN RF3FA09A08T016324), a yellow 2006 Yamaha (VIN YFZ450V) and a blue and white 2008 Yamaha model YFM70RSPX dirt bike (VIN JY4M14Y18C).
