Dennis Knox, age 53, of Rogersville, went to be with the Lord and his family Monday, August 25, 2008, at his home.        
    He was a member of Lafollettes Chapel Baptist Church where he was very active as youth leader and other activities.
    He was preceded in death by his father, W. C. Knox and his mother, Verdia Knox.
    He is survived by his soul mate, Lois Knox; daughter, Mikki Knox; granddaughter, Kelsi Hayden Knox; brothers, Bill Knox of Rogersville, Russell Knox of Arkansas; aunt, Louise Baird of Piney Flats; several nieces and nephews.
    The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. Funeral services will be 8:00 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jody Davis officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 28, 2008, at Lawson Cemetery.
