Ada Mae Jackson, age 86, of Rogersville, was called Home Tuesday evening, August 12, 2008, at Signature Health Care in Rogersville.

She was a member of Westview Baptist Church. She was a dedicated housewife and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Jackson; daughter, Glenda Sue Jackson; parents, John and Rebecca Brown; brothers, Dave, Ernest, Heiskell, Woodrow, and Fate (Doc) Brown; and sister, Ocie Myers.

She is survived by her son, David Jackson and wife, Kathy of Rogersville; daughter, Carolyn Price and husband, Wayne of Rogersville; three grandchildren, Rebecca Way and husband, Vince, John David Jackson, and Brandy Morgan and husband, Andy; one great-granddaughter, Ava Morgan; one great grandson, Dakota Way; several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Signature Health Care of Rogersville.

The family will receive friends from 6– 8 p.m. Thursday, August 14, 2008, at Colboch-Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel at 8 p.m. with Rev. Ray Mullins officiating. Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 15, 2008, at Highland Cemetery.
