hirley Hill age 64 of Rogersville passed away Monday morning (Nov. 3, 2008) at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC. 

She was retired from TRW, a member of East Rogersville Baptist Church, a lifetime member of the Hawkins County Rescue Squad Crewettes, Hasson Chapter #179 O.E.S. and a former member of the Hawkins County Pink Ladies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Arch R. and Belle Ashe.

She is survived by her husband; Gary Hill of the home, son Ric Chapman and wife Susan of Rogersville, daughter; Amy Dinsmore of Rogersville, step daughter; Chris Quillen and husband Kevin of Bristol, step son; Cory Hill and wife Catherine of Rogersville, 12 grandchildren, special brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; A.C. Hill and wife Lori, Wilma Williams and husband Dale and Wanda Hill.

The family will recieve friends from 6:00 - 8:00 pm Wednesday (11/05/2008) at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville.  Eastern Star services will begin at 8:00 pm with funeral services to follow with the Rev. Steve Owenby and Edd Shanks officiating.  Graveside services will be 11:00 am Thursday (11/06/2008) at the Shanks Family Cemetery.
