Kathy Hill Browning, age 59 of Rogersville,
passed away, Sunday, February 7, 2010 following a brief illness.
An active member of Persia Baptist Church, Mrs.
Browning loved her church and Fellowship Sunday School Class.
She was
preceded in death by her parents, Gene Hill and Bennie Lucille Bacon Hill Long; step-father, Howard
J. Long; maternal grandparents, Minnie and Jim Bacon; paternal grandparents, Mary and Judge Hill;
step-grandparents, Hobert and Gertie Long.
She is survived by her husband,
David Browning of the home; son, Keith Browning of Corryton; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a
host of friends; her beloved cats, Andrew and Lily.

Calling hours will be 5 to 7
p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at Broome Funeral Home, Rogersville. Funeral service will be 7
p.m., Tuesday, February 9, 2010 in the funeral home chapel with Dr. John McPheron and the Rev. Billy
Ray Courtney officiating. Graveside service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at
Hamblen Memory Gardens. Those who wish to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at
the cemetery by 1:45 P.M.
