Chester Collins, age 80, of Russellville passed away Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Morristown-Hamblen Hospital. He was a member of Free Spirit Missionary Baptist Church in Russellville. He was retired from Berkline after 23 years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Hattie Collins; daughter, Magalene Collins; brothers, James, Walter and Luke Collins. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Betty Collins of the home; children, Tammy Huff of Russellville, Floyd Collins and wife, Pam of Rogersville, Marvin Collins and wife Debbie of Bulls Gap, Brenda Dodson and husband, Ricky of Russellville, Pat Holt and husband, Junior of Bulls Gap, Vatris Crittenden and husband, Jim of Whitesburg, Larry Collins and wife, Angie of Russellville, Donnie Collins and wife, Lisa of Whitesburg and Kathy Murray and husband, John of Russellville; sister, Elsie Buttry of Rogersville; 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 2-great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews; special friends, Maralea and Aaron ( Ernest) Maness ,Donnie and Debra Radar and Gene Matthews . The family will receive friends from 4 - 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at Colboch- Price Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. J.J. Harris and the Rev. Ricky Dodson officiating. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 in Highland Cemetery. Colboch-Price Funeral Home in Rogersville is serving the Collins family.
