Martin V. "M.V." Kite, age 91, of Morristown, passed away on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 in Morristown.
    He was preceded in death by his first wife Louise Kite; and second wife Imogene Kite.
    He is survived by his son, Randall H. Kite of Taylor, MI.; sister, Lois Trent of Morristown; stepsons, Bill Tickle and Carl Tickle; Also three granddaughters, one great grandson, and many nieces and nephews.
    Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Westside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary Marshall and the Rev. Scott Farmer officiating. Interment will follow in Kite Cemetery in Hawkins County. The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, January 22 at the funeral home.
    In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Robertson Creek Baptist Church in Bulls Gap.
